Thanks to everyone who came out to see me today. This is my first time at this con and I had a blast. I will be at my table for most of tomorrow, taking a brief eating break and another How to Draw Star Wars thing at around 2ish.
:)
I am here in Seattle for the con, and I wll be at the con floor bright and early tomorrow to set up. My table elf is Steve Gallacci - of Albedo fame - and he’ll have a few things at the table, too.
Stop by Artists Alley, table C1!
I went to an event called the Danescombe Academy this weekend (Medieval reenactment stuff) and learned how to make glass rods and beads, as well as woodblock carving.
Most of you only see my actual art, so I thought I would post these here. The beads are the first beads I’ve made, but I love ‘em. I want to get a torch and start making more beads.

My Inddiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull cards are approved, but I will just tease you with that and post them this week before I head off to Seattle for ECCC!
I had an awesome drive over the mountains, through blustery snow and found myself in Calgary. As I was driving through Calgary, and I was quite a ways in from the city limits, I thought ‘Why the heck is there a ski hill in the middle of Calgary?’only to realize it was OLYMPIC PARK, which was in the middle of nowhere exactly 20 years ago. Holy cow. This place has grown.
My table at the con is mostly set up but I’ll probably head in super early to see other artists and do some last minute prep.
I hope to see some of you there!

$10, includes a sketch
Stop by table A 26. I will also have wild cat card decks, sketch cards and I’ll be taking a few on the spot sketch commissions.
Wordpress 2.5 is out and it has a ton of features like a built in gallery and such (And it can integrate with gallery so I can actually have a gallery proper).
I will be doing a major update of the static site this weekend, but it’s time to mash the blog and the main site together. When i do this, even during testing, this blog will veyr likely be down. Not that it really matters TOO much as I haven’t been pimping it so it doesn’t get any traffic.
Excellent!
My first update (Today, tomorrow or friday) will be to my sketch card gallery. I have a bunch of sets I don’t have samples up for, so I’ll add those.
Thanks for visiting, those of you who have clung on
I am all booked and ready for Calgary Comic Expo, and they’ve put a wee bio of me on their web site!
Check it out here!
So, I know my updates have been few and far between. By Day I design web sites, so I don’t spend as much time updating mine as I should. because of that, the next complete redesign of this site is going to be a full wordpress site with Gallery embedded. it’ll be a pain to get working, but I’m nerd enough for the challenge.
Right now I’m working on Indiana Jones 4 trading cards (No, I can’t show them to you) and a personal commission.
Here’s a WIP of the personal commission
Enjoy, and thanks for stopping by the site. I’ll have some updates within the next few weeks, I have a bunch of trading cards to update and I’m going to stick lightbox on my gallery.
I realize that’s all geek (heh heh!) to most of you.
I’ve been bad at updating my web site or my blog lately. I HAVE been drawing, however!
Now that I’m over that cold/flu of death that’s been going around north america like a plague I’ll be able to throw some web updates on the site.
I was planning on reopening commissions this month, but I might keep them closed indefinitely. I’m not sure yet. When I’m done with a large commission I’m currently chewing away at I’ll post something. if I *do* repoen it will be for small commissions like sketch cards or con badges only.
New stuffs soon! I promise!
I’m going to have a major site update soon. The programmer at my day job is going to show me how to harness the power of databases to feed this to the front page of my web site… Oooo! That means I’ll be able to have a tag marked ’site update’ and go nuts. Hooray! This eyar my site will have a new look, too, I’ll have time to do that in march.
I didn’t manage to finish all 200 Indy cards, but I got enough of them done.
Here’s a sneaky peeky! I’ll be putting all the approved cards on my site within the next few weeks.
I hope everyone had a good Christmas/New Years/whatever you celebrate. I’ve been busy for the past 2 months solid and took 11 days off to recharge. Commissions will be starting up again at the end of January to give me time to clear out my backlog and finish this pile of Indiana Jones cards.
Speaking of cards, here are the 6 cards I requested back for my LOTR card set. Enjoy!
